Always cards

I am so excited to share some new ideas and ways to use a sketch.

First, I made a card loosely based on the sketch.  Remember that you don't have to be exact.  You can pick and choose the elements that you like and what looks best for your project.

 

This card is sized 6 x 6.  I used a yellow polka dot strip across the card and substituted circles for the squares from the sketch.  I used a circle punch to cut the circles from the Teresa Collins - Memories - Dots paper. In place of the big rectangle I used the lace circle and the image of the old fashioned bike.  I used the black ribbon under that in place of the thin strip of cardstock.

I  know that many of you have been doing the project life scrapbooks.  I decided to create a 4 x 6 element that could be used with the project life and also loosely based on the sketch.

Again I used the circles cut from the Teresa Collins - Memories - Dots paper and the lace circle and  old fashioned bike.  I also used the die cut noted strip from the collection.  This could easily be put on a card base and made into a card.

There are so many ways that you can use a sketch.  I hope these give you some new, fresh ideas.  Don't forget to join in the fun and submit a photo of how you used the sketch this month.  Post  it on The Hens Den facebook page.
