Snow Cards made using Bo Bunny and My Minds Eye by Nicolle Kramer

Instructions for creating cards:

  • All cards bases are cut from Bazzill Cardstock  4 1/4" x 10 1/2" then folded in in half to make a standard card sized at 4 1/4"x 5 1/2". Cards shown are vertical and horizontal.
  • Cut patterned my minds eye papers 1/4" smaller then base on top and bottom of papers. Attach to base making sure to center so the base is like a mat to the patterned paper.
  • Border Punch strips of  Bazzil cardstock to help embellish your card.
  • Layer your Bo Bunny stickers as shown above using 3D foam squares. Hint: Apply sticker to card stock, cut around sticker and add your 3d foam square.
  • Cut ribbon 5 1/2" and attach to card.
  • Cut 10" from ribbon to make your bow.
  • Add pearls to Maya Road snowflakes to embellish. 
  • I used Pagemaps card sketches for inspiration.

The simple stories generations paper line worked perfect for this family picture.  I can't wait to scrapbook more memories with this beautiful line of paper, stickers and embellishments.  All of the patterned papers used are from the Simple Stories - Generations kit.

1. Mount your photo onto the Simple Stories - Generations - Home Sweet Home paper.
2. Mount that onto the solid burgundy card stock.
3.  Mount the matted photo onto the Simple Stories - Generations - Live, Laugh, Love paper.
4. Cut a boarder from the Simple Stories - Generations - Boarder and Title elements paper.  Adhere along the top of the matted photo.
5. Tie a piece of the May arts -Woven Burlap - Ivory ribbon and adhere it to the top of the title element.
6.  Add the Petaloo flowers, they match this line so well!
7.  Don't forget to add the important information.  "Family" and "2005" are stickers from the Simple stories - Generations - Expressions & Fundamentals card stock sticker sheets.

I love Simple Stories, because they really do make scrap booking simple!  I am so far behind with my scrapbooks, but I know with simple stories, I can get cute layouts done fast.  Find this and more simple stories lines at The Hen's Den!

Bo Bunny Serenity card by DT Member Krystle Thomas

Steps:

1. Take two sheets of turquoise paper with coordinating patterns from Bo Bunny Serenity 6x6 Pad. Choose one for your base and trim the other paper 1/2 inch smaller than the base on each side. Mat the smaller sheet with black cardstock to make it pop.

2. Place May Arts Satin/Grosgrain Teal Ribbon horizontally across the card, placing the top of the ribbon in the middle of the card.

3. Layer May Arts Burgundy Sheer Rosettes Ribbon on top of the May Arts Satin/Grosgrain Teal Ribbon.

4. Place a Bo Bunny Serenity Trinket at one edge of ribbon, and add a sentiment for your finishing touch.
