A New Chic Sketch #2 for The Hens' Den designed by Design Team Member: Lori McClellan
Hello friends! There's a New Chic Sketch #2 for May designed by my fellow design team member the graphically talented Lori McClellan. The Hen's den Design team will be sharing what we have created with this sketch. We would love for you to share what you create with this sketch on The Hen's Den facebook page. If you do you will the opportunity to be one of the two guest designers for June.
Charlie the owner of the The Hen's Den sent me the Prima's Engraver Collection this month to create with. This collection is oh so yummy!
I created a layout using the left side of Lori's sketch. Last month was my 39th birthday and these photo's are of me and my children. I make it a habit to get pictures with them at every special occasion. I didn't always in the past but I do now. I think it has to do with the fact that I don't have many childhood picture's of me and my parents. My 39th birthday was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. Mother's day is in May and I used that as inspiration as well.
The cluster below has many different elements. I used variety of pretty prima flowers, a chipboard flower and a misted canvas flower sticker.
I used a the chipboard family word piece for the title. I sprayed the canvas sticker tag with green mist and attached a trinket with a jewel brad.
I am so proud of my children and framed the word and part of the definition with a prima decorative frame. How cute is that sweet bingo card. That was very fitting for my layout as well.
I hope you all have time to play along with the sketch for May. Don't forget to share your creations at the Hen's Den facebook page. Be sure to Come back tomorrow to see what Lori created with her amazing sketch.
